Adams falls is an escape from everyday life.
Her beauty can be compared to any cascade in Pennsylvania. The deep pool below below the falls births a natural, illegal swimming hole. The trail system supported by the State Park services bears signage warning visitor not to enjoy the natural atmosphere of Adams Falls. The falls are kept just out of sight, the trail ends just before the main waterfall. Some visitors do not heed the posted verbiage and scale the small rock face that prefaces the falls. Once they summit the last small hill, Adams appears through the trees. The white water pours through the lower canopy as the trail nears the roaring waters. As the leaves and foliage thin, a small trail leads down to the large flat rock surrounding the pool. Stepping down into the venue that holds the falls is overwhelming; Adams and her stowed cliffs are magical.
This is an amazing location to come and get a glimpse of untouched nature. Adams is a small piece of time that will amaze the senses for years to come. Adams Falls – Illegal Swiming
It’s important to respect the rules in place inside our parks. Though, it’s improper for the park system to withhold location like this from the public because they are dangerous to be at. Appropriate signage should be posted explaining that only experienced hikers should pass certain parts of dangerous paths. The people pay for these parks with tax money and should be allowed access to them.
*This was filmed before it was illegal to be there 🙂
